Fashion Show Ochre Court Mansion - Child & Family's Au Courant


Newport Life Magazine is proud to be a media partner of Au Courant. The most anticipated fashion event of the season by Child & Family and StyleWeek Northeast.

Guests of Au Courant will be treated to the ultimate VIP experience as designers descend on Newport, Rhode Island for a fabulous night at Ochre Court Mansion. From the cocktail party, silent auction and runway show, to delicious hors d'oeuvres and open bar provided by Pranzi Catering & Events - Au Courant, The Golden Age of Hollywood will be the most glamorous event this summer.

Artiss Akarra

Artiss has pioneered innovation and design as an independent designer designing for various US and International brands. He currently owns, designs and operates under his own luxury designer optical and swimwear brand EIGHT | United Republic Affair.

Antwan Byrd

Antwan draws inspiration from a scattered array of elements from architecture, photography, film, and all forms of art, but mostly people. His line, DeBrichhio, caters to the busy woman who wants to look beautiful and sexy as she goes about her day-to-day activities.

Jess Abernethy

Jessica, a Providence-based designer, creates clean, forward and wearable apparel. Jessica returned to the United States in 2001 and launched her own line. Jessica's designs channel a sharp, effortless sophistication, reminiscent of the New England upper crust.  

Jonathan Joseph Peters

Jonathan is an up-and-coming women's wear designer who marries ready-to-wear with avant-garde. He was on season 7 of Project Runway. Jonathan has conceptualized and designed for fashion productions throughout the world for over two decades.  

Robert Merton

In 2011, Merton founded his fashion company, Alistair Archer, named for his two sons, 3-year-old Alistair and 9-year-old Archer. He began manipulating his art work into bright prints and eventually expanded to women's custom and ready-to-wear clothing.

Amy Stetkiewicz 

Receiving an education at Parsons School of Design NYC and inspired by all things modern, Stetkiewicz is a reflection of Amy's own personal style. She blends edgy minimalism grounded in technical perfection and construction and styling.
