The Newport Music Festival continues to impress! Concerts are scheduled every day at various locations around Newport, today through Sunday July 28th.
The 45th annual season continues today, Sunday July 14th at 11am with Bon Matin, a festival salute to Bastille Day at the Elms Tent. At 4 pm musical icon Robert Schumann will perform Schumann Fantasy, also at the Elms tent. The Argentinean organist Hector Olivera will perform at 8pm this evening at The Breakers, concluding the first week of the Music Festival.
Tomorrow, July 15th at 11am at The Elms a recital will be put on by Scott Cuellar, Festival's Young-Artist-of-The-Year. At 4pm the second series of the Verdi-Wagner Concert will take place at the CCRI Newport Auditorium. The day will conclude with Vassily Primakov in Recital, an all-chopin concert by the award winning artist himself.

Whether interested in classical music, jazz, or even tango, there is plenty of beautiful music to be heard around the island in the next few weeks. There truly is no better setting for this festival than the majestic churches, mansions and theaters of Newport!
