Fundraiser - Newport Vineyards 6-9 p.m. Infinity Volunteers will hold its second annual "Evening Under the Stars" A Magical Night of Stargazing and Gourmet grazing!  featuring specialities from area restaurants, a wine tasting, live music and silent auction.  The Astronomical Society of Southern New England will provide high powered telescopes in the vineyar for star-gazing after dark.

Sunset Celebrations - Fort Adams 6 - 10 p.m.  Area artists and craftspeople will perform and offer demonstrations as part of the monthly event, which will feature a cannon firing at sunset, musicians from the Rhode Island mobile chefs along with wine, beer and cocktails, Bring blankets and chairs.  Free admission - www.fortadams.org
